Distance Handshake includes a local-only Demo mode and a persistent Formal mode. Demo mode is meant for playful temporary use. Formal mode uses backend services for accounts, profiles, agreements, execution records, and document storage.

In Formal mode, we may collect your email address, profile details, agreement content, revision history, audit events, execution record metadata, and document information. We may also process limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and diagnostic logs.

We use information to operate accounts, support email verification and password reset, save and sync formal agreements, generate and store PDFs, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app.

We use service providers such as Appwrite and hosting or email infrastructure providers to run the app and support Formal mode functionality. We do not sell personal information.

If you want to request deletion of your Formal mode account data, please contact support and include the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request.
